Thomas Tolworthy – Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President
Thomas Tolworthy joined Twinlab in 2011 and executed its turnaround. Prior to Twinlab, Tom spent 10 years with The Vitamin Shoppe, including six years as CEO, where he grew its retail business from 80 to 500 stores, increased revenue from $180 million to more than $700 million and took the company public. Tom also spent 12 years with Barnes & Noble. During his five years as President, he led the company’s expansion, opening 400 new stores and took the company public. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Vitamin Angels, Pet’s Direct and Performance Bicycle.
Richard Neuwirth - Chief Legal Officer and Secretary
Rich is a seasoned executive, having joined Twinlab as its Assistant General Counsel in 2003 and served as its General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer since 2005. Rich has played a key role for the Company in obtaining both debt and equity financing, restructuring debt, and engaging in numerous merger and acquisition transactions, including the acquisitions of the Metabolife and Trigosamine brands and, most recently, the series of transactions culminating in the reverse triangular merger into Twinlab Consolidated Holdings, Inc. Prior to joining Twinlab, Rich specialized in commercial and product liability litigation at King & Spalding. Rich has a B.B.A. from Emory University and earned his J.D. with Honors from the George Washington University Law School.
Kate Pastor, Executive Vice President Retail Sales
Kate Pastor joined Twinlab in 2004 after eight years with Country Life Vitamins. In August of 2014 she was made an officer of the company. Kate has a track record of tremendous growth in top-line revenue for Twinlab, and continues to have an increasing and strong impact on the company’s top line. She has had a lifelong association with the nutrition industry having grown up in an independent health and wellness shop and worked in senior sales positions for industry leaders.
Chris Thompson, Vice President Fuel Sales and Strategy
Chris is a senior sales and strategy executive with over 15 years of highly specialized and diversified sports nutrition experience, including the creation of new brands, brand management, brand positioning, product development and creative direction. Chris was instrumental in the recent creation and rollout of the Twinlab's ProSeries line of sports nutrition products.
Glenn Wolfson, Chief Administrative Officer
Though Glenn officially joined Twinlab’s executive team in 2014, he previously served as a consultant helping Twinlab craft its turnaround plan and business strategy, and design the organization to become a publicly traded company. Prior to joining Twinlab, during his 34-year career with Axiom Consulting Partners, RNW Consulting, Booz-Allen & Hamilton and Sibson & Company, Glenn led over 600 client engagements in the areas of business strategy, organization effectiveness, leadership and change. He has served such major clients as Disney, Vitamin Shoppe, S.C. Johnson, and United Airlines.
Greg Grochoski - Chief Science Officer, Executive Vice President
Greg is a retired Chief Innovations Officer from Amway (now Alticor). He spent over 40 years at Amway generating all new major products for the company. He has developed over 1,500 new products and supported over 50,000 product launches worldwide. Greg graduated from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan with a BS in Economics and a BS in Chemistry. He later completed Medical Field Specialist School with Honors at Brook Army Medical Center in Houston Texas while a member of the US Army. In 1999 he was inducted into the Grand Valley State University Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
Peter Brechter - Executive Vice President Development
Prior to joining Twinlab, Peter spent four years as CEO of Everlast Sports Nutrition. He launched international operations for industry leaders NBTY during a period when the company grew from $220 million to $750 million. Peter also launched international operations for industry leader Atkins Nutrition. Peter is a strategic expansion specialist and has conducted two industry consolidations as well as building and purchasing numerous businesses worldwide. He has held several board positions in various industries, including his current role as a board member for World Health Stores, China.
Steve Rolfes, Vice President International and Contract Manufacturing
Steve is an experienced executive who started his career as a district manager with Barnes & Noble, where he rose through the ranks between 1990 and 2001 to become Director of Store Administration overseeing 590 Barnes & Nobel stores and 402 B. Dalton Stores. After two years in a similar capacity with Pier 1 Imports, he joined The Vitamin Shoppe in 2008 as Director of Retail Operations. During his nine years at The Vitamin Shoppe, Steve rose from Director of Operations to Director of Business Development and International.
